Dear Friends, After 17 years of being a broad-based community organiser, I am answering a call to serve the Uniting Church more fully through a role at Uniting NSW & ACT. April, 2025: An amazing day of football, fun and community action! A rainy, windy day couldn't stop more than 500 people coming together for the Renew Australia for All MultiCulti Cup on the weekend. 16 teams proudly represented their countries and cultural groups played 55 lively games. At the end of 2024, Hunter Community Alliance's (HCA) discernment process launched two powerful new campaign areas—loneliness and social isolation, and stretched community services—bringing our total to four alongside climate/transition and housing/homelessness.
